This story didn't really grab and hold my attention, unfortunately. Listened to this on audiobook.

My six year old son Ezra and I have been reading this series of short chapter books, so bear that in mind with our review!

I reckon that this was a fantastic effort that utilised an authentic historical background, and proved a great way for children to get a feel for a period at the same time as enjoying a good story. Plus, it gives us a chance to practice our accents while reading out the dialogue!
