Read in May, 2008
Not bad for a mystery ... very cool to read a novel which not only takes place in Canada but also weaves into its plotline some of the country's more impactful recent historical moments (the FLQ crisis, Mike Harris' unfortunate reign in Ontario, the ice storm...) & personality quirks (e.g. the occasionally awkward relations between French- & English-speaking Canadians).

It was an okay book.
The story was intent on giving you a history lesson and even though I don't mind that and could even say that I like that in a story, the author did not do well in explaining the events.
I would not recommend this book. Giving the author one more chance hoping that the other books are not the same type of story.
