Great book. What else do you expect when Greenblatt writes?!
Overall discusses ROCE+Earnings-Yield ranking. So not a different concept from the Magic Formula. But overall the book has many different inputs than his magic formula book - "the little book that beats the market".

Summary of book... 1) Decide on how much you want to allocate to stocks and stick to it. 2) Market-weighted indexes suck. That's literally the big "secret".

In other words: this book is absolute garbage. That said, apparently they give it away for free at random events, which is how I came across it in the first place. So I guess it's worth it if: 1) you drop your phone in your toilet while on the can; 2) remain strangely calm because, let's face it, your phone is done, man; and 3) really feel l
