I enjoyed this book because Frog went on an adventure and Seagull took Frog on an adventure. I also enjoyed this book because Frog saw a flower and the flower died. I also enjoyed this book because there was a little sprout that was growing into another flower.

What is the author Eve Bunting's fascination with death? In this book, the red flower dies. The animals tried everything to keep it alive, water, sunlight, and singing a get well song. The flower dies and leaves behind a seed. All the animals are happy and will take care of the seed. The story ends there - but what happens when the seed turns into a flower? Honestly, Sleeping Bear Press, did anyone read the stories or did you just publish based on the author's name? I do not recommend this book.

This book will be great for my future kindergarteners and when we take the time to learn about many different subjects. This book will fit into F for frogs and B for bird, T for travel and many more. I will definitely use this book in my future class, while it is not the best book I have read but it is good.
