A very interesting book, designed as a resource for teachers and students learning about Aboriginal (and Australian) history. It is presented in an A-Z encyclopedia format, with short entries dealing with a wide range of people, places, events, and a few important ideas.

It was no doubt intended more as a reference work you could dip into as needed. However, I am in research mode, so I pretty much read it from cover to cover, with a bit of back-and-forthing to take in related entries.
