Recommends it for: human nature
A faboulous variety of short stories that range from teenage years to adult hood. It provides issues that most people try to forget to think about.

This book was a throwback to the radical queer Dennis Cooper/James Robert Baker/Greg Araki-late 80's and 90's (even though it was published in 1998). And how i wish i was older back then.

A series of short short stories, Toilet is a look at a gay life not lived in Chelsea/WeHo/12th street. That said, there is the universal gay self-loathing and substance abuse that makes all of gays brothers under the skin.

Seriously though, well-written, insightful, short. My only complaint that the over-the-top...more

Absolutely beautiful stories about the "gay 90s". Avoids cliché, unlike most short collections on the subject, and is full of energy and pathos. Lovely and sad.
