I just like Fred and Ted. No surprise that these new ones aren't as good as the original, but they are still fun. The words are simple, the pictures are descriptive, and that helps the beginning reader. There are also clever examples of various types of opposites or things that could be either one way or another.

The nice thing about this book is the opportunity to teach your child about opposites (small and tall, push and pull, right-side up and upside down, in the shade and in the sun, long and short, up and down,hit the ball and miss the ball).

One son said this is his favorite book in the whole world and bought it for his cousins for Christmas.
It is a cute book with colorful pictures, easy words and nice rhymes. It works equally well as a read-aloud or an early reader.
Really, anything by P.D. Eastman is great.
