One of the books I read over and over and over again between ages 5-8. Growing up, we were not a wealthy family and new toys were received only for birthdays and Christmas. This book helped me appreciate my old, used toys just as much as the new ones. I still have my original copy, which I read to my daughter when she was little. It's now saved in her "special stuff" box for when she's ready to read it to / gift it to her kid(s) someday.
