How can you not be tickled by a book that opens with wee green little witches hatching from pumpkins? Cute and simple rhyming text with a fun story. Adorable detailed illustrations. A great pick for Halloween!

A sweet little Halloween read, something to get them in the mood for Halloween. If your kids are like mine that they get scared with Halloween, this book will ease them into the whole scaring attitude.
The rhyming technique of this book is light and funny, and I'm sure that its appeal to young readers will be broad. Jerry Smath's take on the Halloween picture book idea is solidly expressed.
We are way into Halloween stories these days and this is a cute, not scary Halloween story about witches who are trying to scare the trick or treaters to no avail.
