This book was a fantastic guide through all aspects of welfare racism. It began with helpful definitions of controlling images, discussed the history of welfare racism from the beginning of the program until now, how it keeps the poor in poverty, why we should combat it, and how. The book includes several case studies from different regions to illustrate welfare racism in action, and has fantastically accurate studies and figures.
