Recommends it for: lovers of Hawaiian history, history buffs
Well researched pictorial history of Waikiki Beach on O'ahu. With hundreds of archival photographs collected from dozens of sources, this book gives a wonderful perspective on the growth of what may now be a tourist hotspot, but is also a small strip of land rich in history.
