Für Außenstehende wie mich ist es immer noch schwer nachzuvollziehen, wieso man eine gewalttätige Ehe länger aushält. Wirklich erklärt es dieses Buch nicht, da werden die Geschehnisse in der Vergangenheit eigentlich nur recht oberflächlich angesprochen. Die Mutter schreibt der Tochter Briefe, in der sie erzählt wie sie ihren Mann kennen lernte, und dann schreibt sie nur "den Rest kennst du ja selbst". Wir Leser kennen ihn aber nicht, können es uns nur vorstellen. Insofern ist ...more

It´s the first story, where I really dislike the main charakter. It was hard to work through this book.
