I finally have caught up to SOX, a book written by my friend and former Tribune colleague Bob Vanderberg. He talks directly to the principals in Sox history, including such greats as Billy Pierce, Al Lopez, Bill Melton and Minnie Minoso, and makes each Sox legend come alive.
