I’m not exactly the most truthful person. I mean, I tell the truth sometimes, but other times it just seems so… boring. I mean, there’s nothing exciting about what happens to the real Frank Hollahan. So sometimes, I embellish it. Just to impress the guys.

I really enjoyed reading this World War 2 book. The Book had many creative Characters including Wierd Wanda who the main character Frank meets on the beach. Frank also had an humorous sense of stretching the truth a little too much. This had a lot of impact on gaining trust from friends, family, and prety much anybody who knew him. Set near Jacksonville, FL, during WWII, this book captures the patriotism of the time, the fact that German spies did land in the United States, and the character of Frank, a kid who loves to stretch the truth. Thanks Cecilia!

This book was a great mystery and was very intense at times. But it kept me reading. Also Frank is an interesting character because he always brags about how great he is at everything.
