This is the textbook used for my World Politics class this semester. It is a bit outdated (not the authors' fault). While there were many definitions of political theories, the book didn't particularly provide any enlightening details on the specific details of where and how these processes are used.

Also, the authors' seem to be heavily biased in their opinions (surprise, surprise). In the end, it appears that the US is a worthless, opportunistic country. These biases color the entire text.

I have to admit that I was impressed with this text. Most of the books that I have to purchase for my college courses are either very boring or skewed to one political view or the other. This writers actually took the time in this one to present a fair and balanced view. It would actually be a good read for anyone just picking up a book on the subject to peruse for leisure.
