I enjoyed this story immensely but I felt that the relationship between Fallon and Kade progressed way to quickly, don't get me wrong there relationship was really cute and of course I was rooting for them to be together its just that it did not grow as it should have. Angels of the Knights by Valerie Zambito was a very nice surprise. It was quick paced, well-written and with fascinating settings! It's a page turner which you don't want to put down and I am looking very much forward to Valerie Zambito's upcoming releases.

Angels of the Knights by Valerie Zambito was a very nice surprise. It was quick paced, well-written and with fascinating settings! It's a page turner which you don't want to put down and I am looking very much forward to Valerie Zambito's upcoming releases.

The story starts with the heroine Fallon dying during home invasion. She wakes up in Emperica as an angel and when she is faced with the choice which Caste to pick out of four: Patrit, Sentinel, Aegian or Knights, her choice is very clear. She still feels connected to the mortals and she has a desire of helping the Creator fighting the evil, she makes probably the hardest choice of becoming a Knight.

Fallon is stripped (clipped) off her wings and sent back to the mortal realm, where she meets a young man called Kade. Kade changes Fallon's life and brings her to face the truth about her feelings.

There were quite many things I loved about the plot. Let's start with the settings and world the author has created. I think even though it might sound familiar to so many other worlds, I think it was unique. I truly enjoyed how the author named the places - Emperica which is Heaven, Mordeaux, which is Hell, Aventi - the sword of light etc. I liked the the fantasy world in her book and I felt spelled by the creatures (both good and evil) in Angels of the Knights.

I also loved how the fight between good and evil was described in the novel and I think the author did wonderful work with bringing Fallon from 1978 when she died to the world now. It created a nice change of the scenes and also few surprises.

I guess that there might be readers who think that the relationship between Fallon and Kade was developing too quickly, but it suited nicely into the surroundings - the whole book was quick paced. I liked how Kade went after what he wanted.

Angels of the Knights by Valerie Zambito is a gem between YA fantasy world - it has lovable characters, incredible world and settings, lot of action and a sizzling romance. I would definitely recommend Angels of the Knights: Fallon to any readers who enjoy YA fantasy!

I ate this book up! I throughly enjoyed the authors style of writing and the new premise this book had. It is the story of Fallon, a sixteen year old girl who, during a home invasion is killed, along with her parents and brother. I really, really enjoyed this book. Was such a change of pace from some of the previous books I have been reading. Valerie really did an amazing job writing this. I was hoping for something epic, after having read the description and you really do end up getting a really epic story. I was actually really surprised just how exciting and action pact it turned out to be.

I'm not going to go into a massive about of detail, because this story is very spoiler heavy and I don't want to ruin anything for potential readers. I will say that if you want an intense story that will take you for an amazing action packed ride then this is a perfect book for you. Once Fallon leaves Emperica to head back to earth as a Knight, you better strap yourself in for the ride.

Fallon and Kade were great characters, they were both really easy to connect to and you could easily find yourself really get caught up with what was going on between them. They are far from the only characters in this book though, and there are some pretty evil characters. Marc Ellis being the prime one. I can't even begin to explain to you how evil this guy is. I think Valerie did an amazing job crafting her characters though, they were all enjoyable in their own unique way.

The ending was just as good as the rest of the book, especially with the epilogue. It leave you with a very small amount of information about a character that will be the focus of the next book in the series and I thought that was really cool. All in all, Valerie did a great job with this book. There were a few moments I did get a little bored, but things quickly picked back up and got back to all the action.

If you think that this book sounds like something you'd enjoy. I would highly suggest that you pick it up. It's not a very long book at all, so if you're looking for a very quick and exciting book to read this is one book you should really give a shot.

I could not put this 5 STAR book down – I read it in one day! “I’m just going to read one more line…” (YEAH RIGHT!) One more line turned into the whole book. It was just sooo good! It was a YA Paranormal Romance. I think EVERYONE should be checking out Valerie Zambito’s books right now! I cannot wait until the second book in this series, “Angels of the Knights – Blane” comes out because I will most definitely want to read and review that one too. So, that pretty much covers it, every aspect of “Angels of the Knights – Fallon” completely rocks!

So, this book is about a girl named Fallon Angell whom died in a home invasion when she was just 16 years old along with the rest of her family. When she arrived in Emperica (Heaven) she was an Angel but had to choose a specific caste of Angels that she wanted to join. The choices were: the Patrit Caste (main society angels), Sentinel Caste (guardian angels), Aegian Caste (Emperica’s guides), and the Knight Caste (warrior angels). Fallon immediately chose to become a Knight so she could aid the Creator (God) in his battle against evil, as well as for her own personal reason. Knights have to train for 30 plus years in Emperica before returning to Earth to fight and destroy the evil Kjin. A Kjin is “’Pure evil. Before Mordeaux, or hell, was sealed centuries ago, demons were unleashed into the world and, to this day, they continue to walk the earth causing death and destruction’” (Page 6). Before a Knight returns to earth, their angel wings are clipped so they can appear human. They are giving an Aventi, a sword of light, and also a Kur (activates the Aventi and alerts the Knights of Kjin) to defeat the evil demons. The Kjin appear to be regular humans because the bodies are human, while the demon possesses their soul. Fallon Angell is one of the best warriors in the Knight Caste. She has killed so many Kjin that they have taken notice.

Fallon has never really fit in with the people on Earth because she died in 1978 and things are a lot different in the new millennium. Though she appears to be 19 years old, she is really a 50 year old woman. She was always used to being alone – until she met former cop Kade Royce. There was an instant connection between Fallon and Kade and their relationship moved super-fast. Fallon was reluctant to get in a relationship because she didn’t want Kade put in danger being in her world. Kade wanted to fight right alongside of her though, and she finally agreed. While experiencing the perks of love, Fallon is still battling the Kjin. There has been a lot of unusual activity with the Kjin and it is Fallon’s job to find out why. Well, Fallon and Kade’s job to find out why, but Fallon still wants to keep Kade safe and protect him from evil. Come to find out, the danger was already so close to Kade and he never even knew. Will Fallon and Kade’s relationship survive the dangers of the world? Will Kade’s life survive the dangers? Will Fallon’s…?

Ahhh! I just loved this book! My little summary there cannot even do this book justice. You just have to go and read it yourself. Valerie Zambito is definitely going to be a best-selling author; I think she already deserves a spot. This book elicited so many emotions from me. I found myself smiling, and routing for Fallon and Kade’s love, but I also found myself angry and shocked. It was great. It has been some time now that a book provoked any emotion for me other than the fact that I liked it or I didn’t. But with this book, just when you thought you found out what was going on and who did what, Zambito turned it around and threw another twist in my face. I loved it. I was all, “What?!”…”Oh, wow!”…”Wait, What?!”. As for Fallon and Kade’s relationship, I loved it. At first, I was thinking – “Wow Kade, you waste no time going for what you want” and was surprised how fast the relationship developed. But then, I realized it didn’t matter if it took one day or one year, these two were meant for each other. They are both very special people and they definitely belonged together. I was routing for their love the entire time, through the good and the bad. You are just going to have to read the book and find out what happened with their relationship though.

Okay, now that you are done reading my review…GO BUY THIS BOOK! NOW! Thank you Valerie Zambito for an EXCELLENT 5 STAR READ!

Okay I wasn't really going to read this book yet (it was on the TBR list but not high up) Well I grabbed it today by accident and headed off to work (I had just won the book and it was on top) I try not read a lot of good v. evil when I am writing about hell and such myself, and angels, never really my thing. Fallon is such a strong character and fights with all her strength against evil, even risking her own life. She travels everywhere killing the Kjin before they can kill any more humans. She's on a very important assignment when she meets the incredibly sexy Kade Royce. While reading the book all I could think was how much of a gentlemen he was. I need my own personal Kade. They worked so well together and understood each other. Julian, another Knight, was one of my favorite characters. He was so charismatic and although we only get to read about him in very brief moments I couldn't help but fall for him.The evil characters were truly evil, especially Marc Ellis and his group of "soldier" Kjins. You can't help yourself but to want to fight along side Fallon to defeat these awful men.

One thing I really loved about this book was that the main characters were college age. I haven't read many books that fall into the New Adult category but I loved it. Being in college myself it was great to read about people my own age. Fallon was 19 and Kade was around 22 or 23. Now I want to get right into more books about college age main characters.

The only thing I had a bit of trouble with in this book was that Kade and Fallon's love developed basically within the time span of a few days. After that they were inseparable and completely devoted to each other. It wasn't a horrible thing because I was rooting for their relationship but it was just a bit rushed for my liking.

That said, this is an amazing book. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up this book, but I was completely blown away. The action is constant throughout the story and the characters are very easy to relate to. I was rooting for them the entire way through. The ending will tear your heart out and then hand it back. I was at the edge of my seat as I read the last half of the book and can't wait for the second one. We got a bit of a sneak peek of the character it will feature in the epilogue. If you want a quick action packed read I suggest you go get this book now!(less)

I didn't hate this--but I couldn't finish it because it was so juvenile. The writing was certainly basic, and left a lot to be desired. The prologue just annoyed me. So Fallon is dead, and then is scooted through Emperica or Heaven--then for what ever reason, she is an angel and apparently she caught on to this somehow...? Because there was no sign of her being angelic. Anyway, she is then told she needs to choose between castes of Angels, without being given time to make an informative decision...more

When I was first offered the chance to be part of the blog tour for Angels of the Knights-Fallon, I jumped at the chance, because I'm always up for a new angel themed paranormal. Thankfully, the overall story was interesting as well as beguiling. However, I did have a few tiny problems with it.

I won this book from a giveaway and received an autographed copy. All I can say is WOW! This is one of the best interpretations of good vs evil, heaven vs hell and angels vs demons I've ever read.
