Dudes, this was a painful read for me. At least now I know that Ms. Gordon's writing style does not work for me. This is a personal preference thing, not an indictment on her writing. I just cannot TAKE the perfunctoriness of the writing...or that's the way it felt for me. I really felt like I was slogging through reading it and not sure why I finished it. Misunderstandings are Harlequin mainstays...but this book was just OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. I MEAN FOR GOD'S SAKE TALK TO EACH OTHER!! I ...more
