I'm going with 3 1/2 stars on this one. I really enjoyed reading this. The characters were great, the side characters were good too. There was plenty of humor, sparks, emotions, fun, some touching parts and exasperating parts, good character growth and personalities, and a great ending. I wouldn't mind reading this again. The kids and the dog were a good touch too. This story pulled me along and kept me interested. Great for the girl-night-in relaxing kinda read with some ice cream and popcorn. ...more

It was actually a pretty good read. There was a good character transition of Linc like when he "smiled" to his colleague. and I loved the use of medical terms! (since I'm studying in a similar field)
The kids Emma and Derek were a great addition not to mention Ria the lab to the book. Punched with a nice dose of humour, personality, moments and a zing of romance, I am definitely adding this on my list of cozy reads :-)
