Wow. I haven't read a book in a while that I enjoyed this much!
First, let me say that, although this is the second book in the series I didn't feel lost. I do think my experience would have been even richer if I'd read the first book (and I plan on rectifying that immediately), but Demon Hunt stands strongly on its own. Very strongly.

What do you get when you cross a warrior fae with a tribred - lots of interesting situations where they both are vying for control and refusing to back down. Serra is a healer and a warrior fae sent to the human world to close the portal from the Chaos Plane and kill the demons. Sounds simple enough but then you add Gregor Caine to the mix, a man who is part demon, part fae and part human and life gets to be that much more interesting. Giving up isn't an option. So what's a person to do, when.........You're human, falling for a Fae,not any Fae but a strong Warrior Fae? Geez Lousie! Gregor can't keep denying he's just a "human" forever. Having Fae and demon blood inside him,Amps ups his big role in the story. And deep down his inner self is itching for a fight,any fight.

I found this book fascinating. I haven't read any others really like it. Yes, I know that this isn't the first in the series. And no, I haven't read the first one. But reading this one, definitely makes me want to read the first. Why? Because this story was great. It had romance, action and adventure. Also a strong, independent heroine! But if I had read the first before this one, I feel like I would be able to connect with them even more. That's what is so great about sequels, the continuation...more
Just when you thought it was safe to lust after demons... turns out they're not so wonderful, after all. At least, the full demons being brought over into the Human Plane, not so much.
