Solid continuation to the series, we continue where the first book left off and Cor and his motley crew of kids and one angry sorceress go on the run looking for a safe haven...

I enjoyed the plot in this one, we learned a little more about the rest of the Dahken. I hope that is explored a little further in later novels, since the Dahken are a warrior race, I'm looking forward to seeing Cor leading a group of these fighters into combat.

I wish we went a little deeper with the training of the Dahke

good book, i dislike how the managment is poorly done, you see close to no development in the whole book, except at the end, btw i also dislike how the MC deals with his responsabilities, and is overprotective of his rescued kin.
