Kit Conner is a successful writer and is back in town to be the maid of honor in her best best friend's wedding. Kit's outward appearance of donning herself in outrageous attire, even being mistaken for a stripper and finding it humorous, is seemingly quite capable of handling anything. I always give honest reviews. The story is of Kit, a successful writer who returns to her hometown for one friend’s wedding and several weeks later to be maid of honor at her best friend Anne’s wedding. Anne tells Ben, her brother-in-law to be, that he is expected to dance with Kit, but even though they met years ago, he cannot remember her. Kit on the other hand remembers him well. She has been in love with him since she was a shy teenager, but he never seemed to notice her.

This is a wonderful story. I really liked reading Kit and Ben's story. Kit is a successful Author, but was not always that way. Even now, she feels like she does not deserve to be loved and this realization has always stuck with her, since she was a little girl. Krazy Kit Conner has some emotional and self esteem problems that she's had for a long time. What can you expect from someone who's mother told them that they were ugly and was not good enough and never would be. She told her that she didn't love her and gave her away without looking back.

I really enjoyed this book! I cried, laughed and really wanted Kit and Ben to get together. Great book!
This book was sad, funny and heart-wrenching all at once. It was a short read in my opinion but it packed a punch. There wasn't anything really remarkable about it, it's just sort of your average romance/drama type book. The writing was good and the story flowed with ease and the characters were developed enough to get a good sense of how they pertain to the story.
I recommend this read to anyone who's into the dramatics with some romance.
