If you’re a fan of demons then you’ll be pleased with this book. It’s scary from start to finish. This poor family has lots of bad stuff happening to them. The book has demons disguised as dogs, demons hiding inside people to do terrible things, people being pulled apart and scattered about. I shudder just writing the words.

The novel is very gory and thrilling, and may turn some people off, but it's definitely worth a read if you like scary stuff. Plenty of plot twists. I can see this being on

Let me first start by saying the horror genre is not something I usually read. That being said, The Devil's Demeanor is not half bad.
The bulk of Part 1 follows a character named Don from his childhood to adulthood. He struggles with the thought that he may have a demonic curse, or maybe it is all just in his head.
Part 2 reunites us with Don as he continues to struggle with his curse, but to make matters worse, his nephew and his own son are showing signs of being cursed as well. The story takes

I don't really like the style of this book which put me off it from the very start. It jumps from an incident to something else ahead in time without telling you anything that happened in between or making this leap into the future seem essential to the plot. It left me feeling lost in the plot and wondering what had happened in between these glimpses into a story, which is how I would describe it. It couldn't really be described as a full story with so many missing bits.

The writing style itself

Good Story

This book was very good and fast paced at first . After a while it got less so. I found myself flipping pages. Like I said a good story but too wordy.

I've been writing since middle school. First it was short stories, and then movie scripts, and now it's novels. I've even turned some of my scripts into books because I'm not much of a filmmaker. I recently hit the big 30 and decided it was time to publish some of my work.

I would love to hear from others about what they think. I published my first book, "The Devil's Demeanor," on May 26th and have
