I have been on a long journey with these guys, grown to love some of them and wondered how on earth Ms Webb was going to make this end happily. Well she does but the path to it had me sobbing several times. All threads are neatly tied together - she doesn't leave the reader wondering - except perhaps at the very end - which is as it should be.
The books deal with very human themes of bigotry, racism, violence and the meaning of love and life. What makes us human? This is a powerful series and I'v

I procrastinated reading the last book in Arlene Webb's fantastic series of sparkly Colors, because I knew there wouldn't be more and wanted to savor my anticipation. Now, I'm sad it's over although the book ends in a gentle slope that allows the reader a drawn-out farewell. This series ranges among the very few books I'm certain to reread, something I rarely do because there are so many more books still to discover. Thanks so much, Arlene Webb, for creating these fascinating characters and whis ...more

An emotional story that had me both smiling for and crying over the characters.

The sexual elements in this book got to be more than a little too much for me, but I still couldn't put it down because I had to know what happened to all these wonderful characters. If I knew how extreme the series would get, I'm not sure I would have chosen to read it, but I'm still glad I did, because the story was worth it.

What an amazing journey! I will not give out any spoilers, but, OMG!!! If you've been following this story, you have to read this book to see how it all wraps up!!! Arlene Webb mixes colors and humans- both flawed- and it is such an uplifting, heartwarming RUSH, that I'm devastated that it's over. I am a fan for life.

A maybe slightly disjointed finale to a wonderful series.
