Just like Dr. Andrew’s Book, this one shows that your body (and your brain specifically) is influenced tremendously by the food that you eat. It’s a fascinating read but I will say that I do not agree one iota with all her “stone age” and “evolution diet” talk. Nevertheless, some good info.
Very insightful! I learned a great deal from this book.
Nothing like a good brian book
learned the word ' enteric '
FISH OIL! this book explains how to keep your brain from atrophying simply by changing your diet. the idea that once brain cells die they are gone for good is a myth of the 20th century! this book reads fast and has concise lists of facts and recommendations, all backed up by scientific studies. totally worth it.
oh, and carper explains the chemistry of the brain in such a way that even i can understand. seriously i recommend this.

currently doing a self-study course from this book. It is interesting so far...especially to note how men's brains age differently than women! It's worth reading.
Jean is one of the best translators of scientific study to layman's language. A trove of excellent information on nutrition and health.
I recommend this book, especially if Alzheimer's or even ADD or ADHD run in your family. Really great info. for a person of any age.
I'll talk more about it later..
Easy to understand since it is not a technical book.
