A quick and satisfying read. Picking up where the last book left off the tension between Nick and Tara is even hotter than ever. I can't wait for the next installment.
"Death, Taxes, and a Sequined Clutch" is Diane Kelly's latest installment to her Tara Holloway series, just enough of a story to hold us over until her releases next year! Tara is given a brief reprieve from dodging her hottie co-worker Nick when she's given an assignment with the SEC to take down a set of twins suspected of insider trading. The only hitch in the assignment is that she's having to start her newest investigation at her old accounting firm...

Tara is as feisty as ever in this novella, as she dishes out her own version of justice to an old flame - who needs to get a clue (and a decent pair of shorts!). The sexual tension between her and Nick is as sweet as ever, and like Momma Holloway, that boys gives me super hot, hot flashes!!! I love that trigger-happy Tara can’t go a month without filling out a “weapons discharge” form…hahaha! Poor Lobo! It’s craziness as always for my favorite IRS special agent, but I can’t wait for her to be pa...more

Not very fond of novellas.

another series I love...probably because it is set in downtown Dallas (where I work) so I'm familiar with many of the streets and such that are mentioned. I also like that Tara is an IRS agent kicking butt and taking names....and hopefully not shooting anyone (because that is too much paperwork).

This is a novella but definitely worth the read!
I laughed my assets off for this little novel. So many little jabs at one person was about to be to much. But you know what, it could have been another 100 pages more and I would have loved each and everyone. In everyones life comes an ASSociate like him and he deserved so much more than Tara gave him. As always Diane, thank you.

A fun, fast mini-adventure with Tara and the IRS gang. Lots of angst in this story about which man should be in her life - I'm hoping D, T & Peach Sangria won't be as angst filled. A quick mystery concerning identical twins in trouble with the SEC. If you're a fan of the series, you'll get a kick out of this e book special.
I love this series, and this little novella was a nice addition! I really like Tara and enjoyed this tale about identical twins in trouble with the SEC. If you like this series you'll want to read this one! RECOMMEND!!

Good light reading.

A nice short story featuring my favorite IRS agent. A must read for fans of Tara and all her crazy antics both inside and outside of work.
Cute in between, I enjoy these alot very different from other mysteries as the heroine is a different kind of 'cop'.

Great novella with all the humor and excitement of a full novel. Quick read, now onto the next book of the series...

I'm not rating it since it is a novella and I haven't read any of the books in the series.
Despite being a novella I enjoyed this installment in the series most!
