My friend Lucy leant me this book and I did find it an interesting read. However, I was really looking more at how to understand my mood and the factors that influence it. This book is very much about how mood can cause people to overeat, which is not really my problem.
I did like the writing style though and found some of the research interesting and relevant. As such I've decided to read more by this author.

it was tough to want to read this book...the final chapter, Managing Your Mood, was the most useful for tips and tricks. Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain may be a better choice for coverage on the topic.
