This is a GREAT book, full of patterns just for denim/indigo cotton. I only remember my favorite patterns, which call for worsted weight cotton. Those patterns are: Whitby Sweater (pullover) and Cornish Knit Frock (guernsey/sweater, not a dress), both adult/unisex size. Then the Romney Marsh Smock for kids 1-10 years. All 3 are guernseys (or ganseys, depending on who you talk to).

Sizes are still kind of small, but luckily, if you're knitting in wool rather than the denim recommended, the patterns are written 20% larger than the finished size, due to the way the denim yarns shrink.

I'm making the Artist's Smock right now, and it's very well written. I'm hoping it doesn't make me look like a giant blob, given the shaping (smocklike, go figure), and the fact that we never see anyone actually standing up in the photos -- the one photo of the sweater being worn is of a woman w
