I could not help thinking as I read this book to the kids that it was a perfect example of modern "dumbed down" books. Thankfully, it was a short read, so I did not have to spend time with this book.
The kid was amazed at what they made. I wish that he didn't live with those types of people. They don't treat him right . He is very daring because he goes to America to be a coppersmith and to get a better life. I would be scared to leave by myself to a different county.
I think that the book was really good because it had the person who made it in it. Also,I wonder what would happen if the boss would come to New York and tell him that's my guy! Why did you kidnap him? He's just a kid.
