Many years ago that filthy book imprinted itself in my erotic subconscious. Now it's reared its head and is about to drag me along for the dirtiest ride of my life. Out of sight, out of mind. Or so I thought, but it turns out an old, dog-eared book with contents so filthy and so depraved that I'd been forced to hide it after reading, has sank deeper into my erotic subconsc ...more

I discovered Lily Harlem thanks to her Hot Ice series, a steamy contemporary romance series about sexy hockey player heroes. But as those novels range between sensual and steamy the sheer hotness of That Filthy Book took me by surprise but with the flowing narrative and deeply developed characterizations I was swept up in the whirlwind that was the story, and it became one of my favourite reads of 2012!

That Filthy Book starts with an unusual premise in erotica novels: the hero and heroine are hu
Ever read and book and feel embarrassed by it? I suppose it is easier now with e-readers, we don't have to hide that fact we are reading smut. Gone are the days of hiding books behind a copy of Womans Weekly!!

Karen & Jacob have been married 10 years with two wee lassies. Can they find their way back to how life was BF (Before Family). Karen now feels 'boring' and feels odd that she keeps thinking about 'That Filthy Book'.

A brilliant story of how life can get you down and in a rut and how one

With a name like That Filthy Book, this naughty read immediately intrigued me, not least because one of the authors, Lily Harlem, is a favourite of mine.

The novel is about a married couple, Karen and Jacob, who, although they still love each other deeply, have fallen into the trap of routine and ruts. When they go away for their wedding anniversary - leaving their children in the care of their
This book is about a couple who has been married for ten years. With young kids and the normal dad to day, their marriage and sex life becomes boring and bland. Deciding to take a weekend for themselves, they discover that a little dirty talk goes a long way. Then with a few fantasies brought to life, this couple brings more spice to their marriage than before. They realize it's not just the sex but a deep love for each other and by opening up, their love grows. Hot sex scenes and a wonderful co ...more
OMG, was this story dirty?! Some scenes were really hot especially that exhibitionist one at the club.
But above all this was a love story about a couple who've been together ten years with kids and jobs taking over almost all their time and energy; but who are still deeply in love.
Its about how this random erotica book ( the one from the title) gives the h ideas to recreate the passion that they don't seem to have the time for anymore. And the book has so many ideas too - rape fantasy, dirty ta
Really liked this book. Karen and Jacob seemed to brim with genuine love, and the sex was amazing to read.

Karen and Jacob are just looking for a little fun, fun that will remind them why they fell in love in the first place. Something naughty that will make both of them burn with a desire so hot it could consume everything around them. Being a mother of two little girls has made Karen lose something of her that made her want sexy things and need to have Jacob take her anytime of night or day. If Karen doesn’t get it back, she fears she may just lose Jacob in a

Hot damn, if you like your sex kinky, hot as hell and pushing those boundaries then look no further! Karen and Jacob are happily married with two children but the bedroom has gotten a tad boring. A night away re-awakens old feelings and reminds Karen of a book she read long ago, detailing acts of wantoness and depravity that fill her with a desperate longing but how will Jacob react? This book is chock full of sinful delights that definitely aren't for the faint of heart. Me - I loved every wond ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really connected with Karen since I could relate to her life and I think that's why I enjoyed reading this. I really liked how it shows that even after marriage and kids a couple can still have a satisfying sex life.
I did not agree with the reviews I read of this book. I chose not to finish after the fourth chapter. There just wasn't enough story for my personal tastes.
