I got all teary eyed in the prologue! Elijah/Angel was really exploited by people he trusted that it was heartbreaking.

When he broke away and moved to Charles town starting Chapter 1 was wonderful tho. Widower of 4 years Jackson meets this gentle pretty man and starts out as a sincere friend that later morphes into a most devoted lover who gives him the unconditional love he deserves. He finds true love, great and sincere friends in the form of Shiloh, Alan, Josh and Nick as well. The epilogue

YAY! This one if finally released! Whew!
I was lucky enough to win an e-copy of this from the author. I would have purchased it today (release day) anyway as I have been looking forward to it since the author announced its release. I am a big fan of this series and and I was eager to see where she would take the Men of Charlestown next.

This is the perfect addition to the series. In this installment we meet Elijah, a former porn actor and substance abuser. The prologue (which was perfect) describes Elijah at the lowest point in his life

I love stories about second chances in love, and this is a wonderful example of what I love.
Started very sad and I was rolling my eyes thinking, oh no!! another abused character.
Luckily the author did a wonderful job, and she focus on Jackson and Elijah road of recovery.
Both needed each other for different reason, Jackson mourning his husband's dead and Elijah, his horrible abused.
Even though you may think it looks depressing, it wasn't.
It was a beautiful story about love, acceptance, and find
It left me with a smile after finishing it.. Totally loved it
Ok, this is my favorite in this series which is saying something because I loved Shiloh! I'm a sucker for an underdog and of course with Elijah's past, he's got the triple threat - neglected abused kid, drugged and pushed into porn and then the suicide attempt. But of course he perseveres and gets to Charlestown where he moves in next to Jack. Jack is a widower who lost his partner to a senseless accident 4 years earlier and has been living a rather lonely life since then. His husband had been h ...more

Both MC's are nice guys who deserve to be happy and they get it, and despite the blurb and subject matter it wasn't dark or depressing. Although this being a book by Ms.Anderson I should have known that! :)
My only niggle was the heavy use of older man and younger man to describe the MC's .
So if you're in the mood for some super syrup sweetness this might be for you.
It was nice to see Shiloh again.

I love how Jack and Eli took their time getting to know each other and how well they played off each other. There are the Ying and Yang. IT started out as a friendship that turned into a LOVE of a Life time. Jack gave Eli what he was looking for unconditional LOVE and Eli gave Jack the will to take a second change at LOVE. Eli also made New and TRUE friendw with Josh, Nick, Allen and Shiloh and lets not forget Shep...
And to quote Jack " I think we're the best thing that happened to each other"
I love this series and this book was a great addition to it. I loved watching the slow build-up of the relationship between Jackson and Eli. Both men had their own reasons for not trusting in a new relationship but the attraction between them was inevitable. It was nice to see Shiloh and Allen and Nick and Josh again as well. I hope that there will be more stories in this series in the future.

I love reading anything by Andi Anderson. Her stories always leave me feeling uplifted and with a smile on my face. Elijah had it rough and getting out of his abusive relationship almost cost him his life . . . but then Jack shows up. And hope is restored. It was sweet that these two characters took the time to let their relationship and trust develop before taking it further. Please give us more Andi!
Love the way Andi Anderson manages to capture innocence in this book... I have enjoyed all four books and this one is up there with book 1...

Andi Anderson takes what could be a dark and depressing story and instead makes it about light, hope, and love. While Jackson seems to what to care and watch out for Elijah you see that Elijah has his own strength and can be there for Jackson just as much. I also like that the recovery Elijah experience happens before and during his new relationship and his healing is for his own benefit and not dependent on anyone else. It is this very healing that makes his new relationship all the sweeter.
3.5 stars. Angel’s Redemption by Andi Anderson is a quick read with engaging and likeable characters. If you like your romances on the lighter side, then you will definitely enjoy this story. To read my review in its entirety, please visit http://www.bookreviewsandmorebykathy....

2012 Review:

So… Is Jackson sexy?

I’ve come to the conclusion that the name usage in direct speech between the protagonists ceases to be an issue after a while per book in this series simply because they tend to slip into pet names and endearments instead. >.>;

Gotta say though, for all the happy-happy and blatant wish fulfilment (hint: look out for mentions of flat screen TVs and other nice touches to homes in books), Elijah’s back story was actually harsh and uncompromisingly horrible.

Recommends it for: Romance lovers
I've enjoyed all of the Men of Charlestown books I've read so far and this one is no exception. I remember feeling so bad for Jackson at the end of Daniel's Dream, seeing him mourning the death of his husband. Knowing that he had his own book excited me and I'm so glad I read this charming story. Both Jackson and Elijah have been through their fair share of pain, but through each other's love and acceptance, they rise above the pain and find true love in the process. I would recommend this book ...more
Last of the series at the moment, maybe we get glimpses of 3 of the couples in the future maybe.

3 of the couples were very sweet adorable and very addictive to read about them.

This one is about Elijah and Jackson, Elijah was abused and used at the very young age, the only solution for him is to try to take his life but failed and he survived all those bad things that happened to him. and now his getting better and looking for HEA.

Jackson on the other hand lost his partner 4 years ago and still i
This book of the series was wonderful and so loving. I am sad that this is the last one. Sweet Elijah was absolutely perfect for Jackson. And I am so glad That Jack finally got a happy ending again.
The beginning of this story was dramatic but it soon settled into a nice, sweet love story.
I felt like it went too fast. It was a good story otherwise.
