Hmmmm....well, I enjoyed the book but a lot of little things really bothered me. I was concerned about whether or not I'd like this series because each book is written by a different author. That concern poked its head in this book due to little inconsistencies (calling Jesse's brother in law his brother & indicating he still needed to be saved even though that had already happened in the previous book, the fact that there were still people in the safe house like Lacy & her twins even th...more

Fantastic conclusion to the series. I thought Olivia was pretty amazing when she managed to keep herself and her son alive on the mountain for two days. I enjoyed read this book even if I do not really appreciate the plot with the "evil twin" and children left behind, but this is my problem.

First impressions: Great premise, but I would have enjoyed it much more as a longer stand-alone novel instead of part of a series.
