Hmmmm....well, I enjoyed the book but a lot of little things really bothered me. I was concerned about whether or not I'd like this series because each book is written by a different author. That concern poked its head in this book due to little inconsistencies (calling Jesse's brother in law his brother & indicating he still needed to be saved even though that had already happened in the previous book, the fact that there were still people in the safe house like Lacy & her twins even th...more
Fantastic conclusion to the series. I thought Olivia was pretty amazing when she managed to keep herself and her son alive on the mountain for two days. When Micah found them and took them to the safe house, she wasn't sure what to expect. Micah had come to Cold Plains to help stop his twin brother and ensure that he paid for his crimes.
