I am giving Don't Forget To Remember Me by Kahlen Aymes 4 stars. I must say it is 10x better then the first novel, it has more of a story plot and wasn't AS cheesy. Though there is plenty of that still.

The novel starts off with Julie in the hospital after her accident. She has lost her baby and Ryan is going crazy not knowing what will happen to her. Julie wakes up but has no knowledge of who he is or anything after freshman year of college. Ryan...more

Must Read Best Love Story of 2012
Loved this book #2 of this series even more than book #1 if that's possible
At the end of book #1 I was left shaking, so thankful this book #2 was at the ready. I immediately had to start reading this book and I don't think I took a breath until at least the third chapter.
Call me a hopeless romantic but I loved loved loved these books and can't wait for the final installment of this wonderful love story!

This book was way better than the first book. Which is what I read from the reviews, so Thank you to my fellow GR readers your reviews made me press forward where I normally would not have. I still can't say that this is any ware near at the top of my fav's list. It was much less sappy than the first book...not sure I will read the 3rd book to be honest. My favorite part of the book was the wedding vows that she recited to him..they actually made me tear up. This is what she said to hi...more

Wow...all I can say is that this was an excellent book to follow the first book. Eventhough this book aggravated me at times, because I didn't agree with the Doctors advice, it was still a very well told story. It shows you that Love can really overcome anything. I thought the ending to this book was wonderful, but i can't wait to see how the trilogy will continue and end with the 3rd book. I really hope there is a HEA at the end of the 3rd book because if not I will be upset, because there is o...more

Love this Series, I couldn't book the book down. So many Emotions, Tears(Lots of Tears). This is truly a fairy tale love story.

The depth of love in this trilogy is breathtaking. I cannot put these books down!

"There had been the angel face and that amazing voice crooning to me in low tones. He’d been holding me and begging me to wake up… dragging me out of the darkness."

Simply AMAZING. Ryan and Julia's love story and all of the love they had for each other after all of the pain they went through, they were able to find happiness. Yet again ~ Kahlen Aymes delivers with such a beautiful and precious love story, had me laughing and in tears! Would love to see this book turn in-to a movie!

Love conquers all truly sums up this book perfectly.

(BE PREPARED TO CRY)

Will their love be enough so they can remember the past? Yes, but not without first suffering through an immense amount of loss.

From the very beginning Ryan and Julia's love is tested. After Julia was in a devastating car accident, Ryan is left picking up the pieces of their past and trying to rebuild their future.

"Julia, come on. You're the absolute center of my universe, whether I like it or not." Her mouth o...more

5 Stars!!

First, I'll start by saying how much I love, love the title of the books in this trilogy. I think it's so perfect for the books and the meaning behind them.

Although I enjoyed the first book, this one seemed to flow much better and I found myself taken with the story and it's main characters. It was really a beautiful story about never giving up on love and having hope enlight of tragedy. I've read a lot of books with awesome couples who loved and adored each other, but I must say in all...more

I would actually go as far as to say this is the best trilogy I have ever read, even before reading the final book! And I read a lot!! I have to admit that when I read the first book, I thought it was a very sweet and beautiful love story but with not much drama. How that changed when I got to the end and started this book! I realised that the majority of the first book had been the writer purposefully building up this magical relationship between Ryan and Julia and describing how deep their lov...more

After the less than stellar book one of the series (please look for my review), I really hoped Don't Forget to Remember Me would redeem Ryan and Julia's story - and it did! This is what I was looking for and missing in book one! Because of some life circumstances (which were cliche, I'll admit, but it worked), Ryan and Julia need to work at rediscovering their "mad, mad, love". Through this I got great glimpses into the two characters, their inner workings, and what makes them just so darn speci...more

LOVE IT!!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 3RD BOOK. I ADMIRED RYAN'S PATIENCE AND I SO LOVE HIS VOW.

“My beautiful Julia. You are…the most stunning thing I have ever seen.” I watched her reaction to every word, and when her lower lip began to

Okay, so the reason for only 2 stars........shit where do I start. I have read both the books in this series and this was the better book of the two but as far as good books go this was not. It had its moments and I liked the characters some of the time. The rest of the time I wanted to punch them in the face. I am a hopeless romantic, but this was just sickening. How many stinking times can someone say "I love you so much but I don't know how to express it in words"? Well hello dickhead, you ju...more

I purchased Don't Forget to Remember Me before I finished The Future of Our Past as I would not wait to see how the story played out. This book made me smile, made me cry (a lot), and had me rooting for Julia and Ryan as they tried to re-establish their relationship and love for each other. I couldn't put it down, even when I needed to get more Kleenex, and wanted to keep reading for hours.

My heart broke for Ryan from the beginning. He did what he felt was needed, not necessarily what he felt wa...more

4.5 stars for this heartbreaking/heart melting book in Ryan and Julias journey. The first book, The Future of Our Past (The Remembrance Trilogy, #1) was basically the set up for Ryan and Julias intense friends to lovers story. The 1st book ends in a cliffhanger, and this book picks up where it left off, with Ryans life shattering beyond belief. No spoilers from me, but I will say that The Vow has a similar theme as this book. The intense love these two have for each other is pretty much ripped away with tragedy, and the events that follow are t...more

One thing I’ve learned about myself while reading “Don’t Forget To Remember Me” is that I’m clearly a glutton for punishment. After having torturously finished the first book “The Future of Our Past”, I still went ahead and started the sequel. “Why????????????”, I scream at myself!

The writing is just SO BAD. It’s like a 5th grader’s book report: I did this. And then I did this. And I said this. And I thought this. NO FLOW. What’s worse is that the author wrote each section in 1st person perspec...more

"From the moment I laid eyes on you, ive known that your gorgeous face..is the last thing i want to see this side of heaven"

Now then, my knees got weak when I read that!

I can only describe this book with one word: PERFECT

I tweeted Kahlen and told her the title for the second book is undoubtedly genius!!!!!!

I am a big fan of Ryan and Julia's love story and when I got my hands on this book, I was seriously day dreaming of Dr. Matthews while I was frantically going through the subways of London! Ca...more

This is the second book in The Remembrance Trilogy.

We continue The Love story of Ryan and Julia with this book and we find out what happens after the end of book 1 .

"From the moment we met I knew your gorgeous face is the first thing I want to see on this side of heaven"

Heartbreak, conflict, compromise, passion and most of all a beautiful love. You cannot help but feel every emotion that Ryan & Julia feel.

I always read reviews of books before I download them and this was on an Amazon thread that I am addicted to. So before I wrote my review I decided to read some of the reviews on here, and I have to say they sum everything up that I feel about this book.
I have to say I gave this book 4 stars because I really did like it, in fact I more than really liked it, but as some of the reviews on here have mentioned it was slightly repetitive at times, and whilst I adored both the main characters after th...more

What can I say, Kahlen Aymes did something so unexpected - this is book 2 in the Remembrance Trilogy and I have to admit, this book is even better than book 1. The story never missed a step, it picked up where the first book left off and the magic continued. This is a true love story, the kind you dream about, the kind you wish for. You invest so much into these characters, you truly and deeply care for them, you cheer them on to help them through the tough times, and you yell at them for making...more

After reading The Future of our Past it took me a while to start reading this book (thus the seemingly 5 day book read). I was wrapped in the emotion of the first book that it left me quite breathless.

I prepared myself for the emotional roller coaster involving this book. This time I think that Ryan gets to be the center of the book and reciprocate the love Julia has always given her so unconditionally. With the challenges of their current situation you see how much Ryan longs for Julia and wha...more

I couldn't wait to start this story especially after only just reading The Future Of Our Past. I fell in love with Ryan and Julia all the more and got totally swept away with them following their story and relationship. Kahlen is such a talented and creative writer and brings out such emotions in me whilst reading. I don't want to go into to much as i really don't want to ruin it for anybody but you HAVE to read this book and carry on with their journey and trust me you will not be disappointed....more

Again, an impossible cheesy book. It was actually better than the first one, because this one at least had some sort of plot to it, thank you very much. But just like the first book, not a single page goes by without them telling each other "oh, I love you so much!" "I cannot believe how good you feel!" "you're my everything!" etc. I'm pretty sure that if you cut these lines out of the book, it would probably be half the lenght.

Anyway, beside the decently interesting first half of the book, the...more

How would you feel if the love of your life forgot about you? Julia has been in a tragic accident and her memory of the last 8 years is gone. Most importantly, Ryan. The story has many twists while Julia is recovering her memory, but most of all underneath she knows she loves Ryan even if she can't exactly remember it. Can Ryan trust her feelings enough to let go?

I thought the story played out well. There were many points when I wanted to kick Ryan, just give her a little something man! But, mos...more

This review is very similar to the one I posted for Book 1. Again, I really wanted to give this story more than 3 stars, but I couldn't and that bothers me because this story was one of my favorites in its previous life in fanfiction. One thing about reading a story while it's a Work in Progress in the fanfiction realm is that there is a period of time between the chapters being posted, but when you get the opportunity read those chapters nonstop, well, different emotions can surface. Julia and...more

Thankfully no major cliffhanger to this one. As I mentioned in my review of The Future of Our Past, my jaded soul rolled my eyes at all the gooey love, but after reading this book I saw why you needed that. Still lots of gooey love, but it seemed to build toward this story in the second installment. Much more of a conflict between our MCs and I loved to see them navigate through the story. Granted, I wanted to hit Ryan upside the head a couple of times, but I know he did it out of love for Julia...more

“Don’t Forget to Remember Me” picks up right where “The Future of Our Past” leaves off and was just as amazing. Ryan has been spending every waking moment try to help Julia in ways he thought was best. Julia is searching for answers no one seems to want to give her. She’s frustrated, lost and wants Ryan more than ever, if he loves her as much as she feels he does why is he resisting her? You will feel your heart breaking for both Ryan and Julia as they struggle to hold on to the things that matt...more
