Fifteen years ago, Griff and Bay were a couple. Everyone said they were perfect for each other, including themselves. Griff knew just what Bay needed, if it wasn't what she always wanted. Hard, long bare bottom discipline, mixed with a generous dose of love and tenderness. They would never be apart.

Except real life doesn't always work out that way, and one day the couple

Bay wanted a strong man and she got one but when her family's needs seemed to clash with Griff's strong convictions that seemed to be the end of the relationship. When she returns 15 years later it takes a lot of convincing to getting them back together. I liked the story but hit didn't quite have the impact that other C. Faulkner books I've read had. I think maybe a epilogue or more wrap up chapter would have make the story seem more finished for me.
First line: “Step out of the car, please, ma’am.”

3 1/5 stars. You'd better be nice this Christmas, or Santa might unleash some domestic discipline on your behind. Otherwise known as spanking. And if not for this strange proclivity, the need to physically discipline someone else, I would have really, really enjoyed this book about childhood love lost and found again.

This is definitly one of Carolyn Faulkner's softer romances but a still really good. The two main characters don't see eye to eye and lose each other for fifteen years. But when they see each other again it is like no time has passed and they discover that they are still meant for each other.

This was ok but not my favorite. Mostly because for 15 years these two didn't communicate and then everything turned around in a split second.
