Kristen
As a newbie to crocheting, I cannot explain how much of a life saver this book is for me. If the pattern I'm using doesn't quite explain something well enough, this book really does have the answer. It sits next to me as I'm working. I can also see how it will help as I work on more complicated projects.
This is a very useful book.

Reading to help with the basics needed to make some crochet motifs...

I'm moving this to "read," even though I'll keep going back to it--it's a great reference book--small enough to fit in a work bag, and so far successful at answering several of my crochet questions!

Not a book you use everyday, but is a great source for looking up terminology or new stitches.
