A very interesting exploration of the quirks of South African English. Anyone with an interest in language should read this, but in fact, I think that all South Africans could gain a lot from this, whether they are interested in language or not. While English is the main focus of the book, the reader learns about the history of South Africa and the cultures of our various peoples in the process.
