Part of the Landmark Supreme Court Cases series. Written as simply as possible for a book that necessarily has to include legal jargon, this is a fascinating look our history, concerning individual rights. Ernesto Miranda was in jail for kidnapping and rape. His case was brought to the Supreme Court to explore whether or not he had been informed of his rights before arrest.
