Lee Frost is a British photographer and prolific author of books about the art and science of photography. The A-Z of Creative Photography was published in 1998 and deals exclusively with film-based photography. Many of the techniques can only be used with film, so the book is not as useful to those of us who now do only digital photography. However, Frost offers many tips on lighting, exposure, and aperture / depth-of-field that are still valid in the digital world.

I needed some review on double exposures-
and this helped.
I liked how this was set up - and it was very simple- for those of us (me) who aren't quite as lingo-savvy as others.
although some of the examples were cheesy.

A instruction book very much targetting people who use film. Does anyone still do that?
I've read most of this book. When I first got it, it was totally over my head and I didn't really understand it all. Now that I've been studying photography it's all making a lot more sense. I'll use this book as a reference once in a while. It covers beginner and advance basics of photography as well as many different techniques in photography.
A really good book for people wanting to experiment with their photography. It gives you some great photographic ideas while explaining step by step just how to produce the result you want in your photography work.
Great Book.
