Starting back in the 50's, Rock and Roll has been a prominent genre in the music scene. This book tells it's history, stories, sub genres, major players and much more. I really liked it, as it pertains to my favorite genre of music. As well, I learned much from it. My only complaint is that it dwelt mostly on the early Beatles/Stones era much more than Van Halen to current(e.i. Foo Fighters) era Which I relate to much more.
I could relate, however, to the subject of rock and roll itself pretty

Reads like it was written by a high schooler, but briefly touches on almost all the major acts up to the mid 90s.
