This book was so much better than the first book “Blood and Guitars.” Yeah it’s still a vampire book, but the story was so much more than the typical vampire book. In this story Trey and Aurora continue their relationship. Trey knows that Aurora is a vampire and they plan for him to become one also… if he lives that long.

The vampires in these books are not harmed by sun or garlic, they just have extra powers when the moon is up. One myth that is true is that wood is poisonous for them. Trey co...more

This book was so much more than the first book -

It's awesome to get to know the music industry. What these rock stars need to go through in order to produce a record.

Trey had it easy. Once he met Aurora, all the songs for his second album came to him quickly. Which meant by the time this book started, the record was ready to go

Aurora finished up the cover, and the guys couldn't have asked for anything more.

Aurora and Trey's relationship is doing great. these guys are meant for each other. But...more

Being in love with a vampire is never easy. Having fought for their relationship, famous rock star Trey only has a few weeks to wait until he can be made immortal by his girlfriend Aurora. Trey has to deal with the release of his latest album whilst trying to avoid those who have already tried to kill h...more

I started early but I still end up finishing it slowly. With all the dramas I've been into and didn't got to read the whole day of Sunday and Monday... It's a valid excuse. :P

Surprisingly, I now realize that I really don't give a damn about the paranormal stuffs in this book. I was more into it because of the romance between Trey and Aurora, and the music. It's like the vamp part was just some minor stuff and not really about it. LOL.

In the first part, the vamp part is almost non-existent, save...more

I don't typically dig on paranormal romance. Thankfully, IMMORTALS AND MELODIES is way more than a paranormal romance. There is romance, but it's supremely excellent romance, not mooshy or sappy....just nifty.
There are thrills, action, and danger to go with watching the love between Aurora and Trey that bloomed in BLOOD AND GUITARS, grow into so much more. The reader gets to witness one of the loveliest ceremonies ever along with gut-wrenching sadness.
Someone does not want Aurora and Trey toge...more

"Immortals and Melodies," Heather Jensen’s follow-up to “Blood and Guitars,” continues the tale of Aurora and Trey—a vampire and a human who risk everything for love.

With the approval to turn Trey into a vampire, Aurora believes the danger to his life is all but over. However, a mysterious opponent continues dogging the lovers' steps, leaving death and damage in his/her wake. Aurora is plagued by questions: is her decision to turn Trey the right decision? Is she strong enough to turn him? Will T...more

Like it's predecessor Blood and Guitars, Immortals and Melodies continues the love story theme mashed up with the rock star life. This book is more on Trey and the play of emotions he has over the changes in his life. I was happy that Trey & the band finally had closure over Wes' death and his relationship with his dad is on the mend. There were parts that I found a little long, like Trey's hospital confinement and Aurora's recovery from Malena's attack but other th...more

The first in the series was okay, but I couldn't get into this book at all for some reason. I ended up skimming most of it. Probably will not read the rest of the series.

Aurora & Trey are cute. The parts related to the band and the music is well written but the vampire component of the story is VERY weak and bring ABSOLUTELY nothing to the story. Come on, those vampires can walk under the blazing sun like any human and go scuba diving?!?! :o :o :o At least, sparkling vampires have to avoid rays of sun!

I write fantasy for teens and adults. When I'm not writing I enjoy traveling, killing Zombies on the Xbox, going to concerts, playing guitar, camping, and spending time with family and friends. I'm addicted to Oreos and flip-flops.
