I skimmed this volume for a class project I was doing on children's programming techniques. It has ideas for storytime activities and crafts for Preschool through Grade 3, featuring multicultural children's programming, with thirteen different countries hightlighted. I was interested on the section on Mexico. It has a bibliography of other Multicultural Series to be used for programming in the back of the book. A great tool for beginning librarians!

Helps educators take children in pre-K through third grades on excursions to other countries and cultures through stories, songs, games, and activities. Each chapter highlights a country or cultural group, with recommendations for read-alouds and stories appropriate for flannel board and overhead projector, and directions for fingerplays, songs, games, and inexpensive crafts and activities. Includes reproducible craft cut-outs, music, and a "passport."
