In Commando Dad, former army man and current father Neil Sinclair presents his “basic training” for fathers in the style of an army handbook.

While this is a fun theme, Sinclair does present this dad-orientated book in a make friendly way; it is pit together with the concise bullet points that fathers will appreciate.

This is a fantastic reference book for people that haven't a clue where to start.
The book is broken down into bite-sized logical chapters and the bullet points make it easy to find key information fast.

I definitely recommend this book for anyone (particularly expectant dads) who are expecting.

This book is aimed at birth to three years - so is also ideally suited for the first time adopters.

Very concise, down-to-earth book for fresh fathers, aided by clear structure and good dose of wit. Perhaps a little basic and not very detailed - but great as a very first book that a new father reads.

This was the first book that I read on my journey to be a father for the first time. It was easy to follow and really well written. Commando Dad taught me a lot, for such a short book. I highly recommend it.

It's a great book for new parents (both fathers and mothers). It's funny with amazing advises and an easy read. Very practical. I guess it helps that was written by a dad and not a doctor.
