Appropriate for early readers - during independent or guided reading...
Early readers can follow the bees from flower to hive as they engage in the honey making process. Each two-page spread has a full-page photo with a clearly labeled feature in the photo like “cell” and “honeycomb.” The labeled item also appears in the text on the opposite page. At the end of the book is a picture glossary that reinforces vocabulary introduced in the text.
