This would make a fair devotional book for children. The chapter lengths are consistent, two pages each and each chapter has a Bible verse associated with it. The stories are simple, not particularly exciting, but interesting nonetheless and the lessons are short and for the most part age-appropriate (a few of the lessons were about sermon preparation or topics not particularly relevant to children).
