Third-grader Bertie is the central character in this collection of three short stories about his escapades. Readers will certainly be amused at the stories and the illustrations as he locks the school janitor in a shed because he is convinced that he is a vampire, takes a trip to the barbershop with his father, and is mistaken for a model at the department store fashion show. All of the stories are funny but show insight into Bertie's character as he seems to learn from his mistakes.
I really felt like this was the funniest, cutest and interesting book. I have read in a long time. lol. my favorite story was the Sweeny Bob. I thought that was so cute how he had his friend to cut his hair and nickname that barber, Sweeny lol. If you're looking for a cute and fast, read to read to children under 10 they would enjoy this book.
