3.5 stars--Young animal lovers will enjoy this colorful, easy-to-read book about the well-being of animals both wild and domestic. Youngsters are given simple tips on how to help animals, from taking responsible care of their pets to collecting money for habitat conservation.

While many animal lovers might think the only way they can help animals is by adopting an animal companion, this book offers several other suggestions such as volunteering at an animal shelter, taking care of animal habitats, and even avoiding clothing that is made from fur. The book also contains lots of tips for taking care animals if you decide to adopt them. There are lots of photographs of appealing animals and smiling children enjoying time with them.
