I read this to see which pupils I think it would appeal to and to be honest i don't think it would appeal to many of our current pupils.
I don't think many teens are bothered about true stories especially when there is not much action - which is all teens seem to want nowadays.
Myself: I quite enjoyed it as it was a true story about someone I had not heard of before.

I have just read the book Respect and I thought it was a really good book. the only reason I didn't like it was because some of the people in the book are extremely racist, this book is a good book because it tells you about the past and how people reacted to black people when they step onto a football pitch.
