"Frank's beautifully designed large-format volume presents 700 full-color photographs and a brilliantly written text—the definitive book for the definitive collection. Each deserves the other. Scrimshaw collectors will want to own this sumptuous book for sure, but it's also for those who love marine history, folk art, or simply reading a great work of scholarship.
