For most of Jeremy Dillon’s life, it has been just him and his dad. They share a great connection with each other. That all changes when the new girl in town, Maria Masterson captures Jeremy’s attention. Jeremy is intrigued by Maria. She wears dresses to school. Maria was also the first person to start a debate with the science teacher, Mr. Bogue on Darwin’s theory about the evolution of man. Jeremy has never known different. His father has raised him on the beliefs of Darwin. So when Maria says ...more

There was a lot of good information in this book about the holes in evolutionary theory and how creation actually makes more sense scientifically. In that regard it was quite interesting. A teenaged girl sets out to prove creation to her science teacher and gets several friends on board. The protag is a young male – the quarterback of the football team, who happens to fall for the cute ‘new’ girl. Although not a Christian himself, he soon finds himself going to church in order to impress his ...more

I wish you could rate books on 2 levels on here. While I did not care for this book, this book is a 5 star for content. It is well written and informative regarding the discussion of evalution vs. creationism. My personal opion on this subject did and does not enter into my opinon of this work. I did feel, however, that the idea of a young man who has been raised as an athiest suddenly becoming christian, was a little ham-fisted and in your face. I do not care for books that hammer a point over ...more

Seeking the Truth

Enjoyed the book immensely! Characters, plot, pacing and the end were all done well. I measure a book's personal value to grab me with emotion and message. Also with the desire to meet the author. Donald James Parker achieved a perfect TEN for me. Christian books written like this with humanity and a bigger picture in mind should be supported. Fun read!
