This is a book that fits more comfortably into the paranormal genre rather than fantasy. It doesn't have winged angels or dangerous demons, what it does have is Ollie. Ollie lives in the area between the turnpike of Heaven/Hell and death. For some people his place is the bus stop to redemption, fulfillment or peace. Some travellers pass through, others remain to ponder and wonder about what may have been.

What a sweet and sad story this is. Our Emylya made some hard choices in her short life. After all her selflessness following Jack's departure, I'm glad she took the 30 days Ollie offered her. She lived more in those few days than she had in her whole life before the accident. And, quite probably, more than she would have if she had chosen to go back into the coma and wake from there. I also believe that if a chance to grab a missed opportunity is offered, you should go for it. Bett...more
