Really solid read, very similar to "The Root of the Righteous" in that it's a compilation of editorials, but not quite as spectacular as that collection.

I will never tire of reading Tozer. Rich, elegantly written, incisive and very, very convicting--he writes as an insider to evangelicals. Several of his books, including this one, are collections of editorials he wrote in the mid 20th century. This particular volume includes a couple of great chapters for pastors as well as a chapter on the need for Christian thinkers-- an oxymoron? It shouldn't be!
